Creative Workshops ::
The next MealieArt House workshop will be scheduled after the Opening Exhibition in November. Please email me if you would be interested in any of the below ideas or if you have something that you and your friends would like to create.

  • Wire tree or birdcages
  • Palm frond masks [painting on palm fronds]
  • Organic sculpture[mobiles or wall hangings maded from driftwook, shells, stones, seeds etc]
  • Recycled material sculpture [beads, plastics, cardboard, paper mache etc]

The Art House space :)
It is a forever changing, colour full, relaxing space, with lots to see, books the latest art magazines to browse while you sip coffee or tea.

MealieArt House is located in Murwillumbah NSW Australia.  Google maps link

From Brisbane
Travel along the Pacific Highway until you reach the Tweed Valley Way / Murwillumbah exit just past the BP. Continue on Tweed Valley Way for approximately 14 klm till you reach Murwillumbah. Once you cross the bridge, turn right at the roundabout into Commercial Road, take your first left into Murwillumbah Street then first right into Queen Street. Follow Queen up the hill toward the Hospital where you will find MealieArt House directly opposite the Hospital.

From Byron Bay
Travel along the Pacific Highway heading north until you see the exit for Tweed Valley Way near Crabbes Creek. Follow Tweed Valley Way for approximately 20 klm until you enter Murwillumbah. At the roundabout take the first exit into Alma Street. Cross the bridge, turn right at the roundabout into Commercial Road, take your first left into Murwillumbah Street then first right into Queen Street. Follow Queen up the hill toward the Hospital where you will find MealieArt House directly opposite the Hospital.
